Dr SIMON TUCKER
Simon has broad experience across industry and academic sectors in Australia and internationally. He has a track record of successfully managing multinational collaborations, companies, and projects across a diverse range of disciplines and levels of development. These efforts have resulted in significant multi-million dollar grants and commercial funding, yielded marketed drugs, diagnostics and generated multiple clinical trials from Phase 1-3.
He was Vice President of Research at Biota Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Australia for 18 years focused on the research and development of new human drugs for the treatment of viral respiratory diseases. He has also been actively involved in the development of intellectual property and commercializing technology through various licensing agreements.
Simon has held chief executive and Director roles in a variety of biotech companies including life sciences, fertility services, and more recently a laboratory services company for preclinical studies and clinical trials.
Dr MARIAN STURM

CHIEF SCIENTIFIC OFFICER/DIRECTOR
An expert in the research, operational and clinical development of cellular treatments, with over 40 years of experience. Dr Sturm has been involved in the manufacturing of therapeutic goods for over 20 years. Dr Sturm holds the following roles:
- Facility Director of Royal Perth Hospital’s Cell & Tissue Therapies WA (CTTWA) which is a TGA licensed manufacturing facility;
- Member of the TGA Advisory Committee on Biologicals since inauguration in 2012;
- Adjunct Associate Professor with Regenerative Biology, Faculty of
Health & Medical Science, UWA;
- Non-Executive Director of Stem
Cells Ltd (StemCore); and
- Advises to various TGA biologic committees.
Mr Fry was a Partner at Ernst and Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Australia and Canada and consults to companies in a broad range of industries including natural resources and health.
Paul’s expertise centres around public markets, capital raisings, governance, risk management, and corporate transactions, and he has experience with various stock exchanges including the ASX and the TSX.

Ms McCrackan is the principal adviser on patents and technical intellectual property for the global mining and metals group Rio Tinto. She has more than 17 years experience in the life sciences and IP law.
Ms McCrackan specializes in intellectual asset management, IP strategy development, patent drafting and prosecution, IP adversarial matters, and competitor analysis, and has a comprehensive understanding of the frameworks that underpin the successful deployment and commercialization of innovation.
NON- EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN
Rob is a lawyer with over 35 years’ experience in corporate and commercial transactions, restructuring and dispute resolution. He has advised companies on mergers and acquisitions; floats; corporate structuring and restructuring; corporate governance; board and meeting compliance and investment and financial structuring.
Rob has also chaired the WA state subcommittee of the Law Council of Australia Corporations Law Committee and the Law Society of Western Australia’s Commercial Law Committee.
